We are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our website visitors.

This Privacy Policy applies to Proper d.o.o. and Proper Events and Research Ltd. owned and operated websites and its subdomains (“Sites”). Proper d.o.o. and Proper Events and Research Ltd. (“Proper,” “we,” or “us”) want you to be aware of how your data and information about you is processed. This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by Proper when you access the Sites and Proper’s event websites, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The use of data collected through our Sites is limited to the objectives under this Privacy Policy.

 

1. Information We Collect.

(a) Our Service: We may collect personally identifiable information about you for the purposes of our events, such as your full name, company name, phone number, email address, or similar, when you register for an event, send an inquiry or download the event agenda or a brochure from our Sites. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete surveys, provide feedback about our work and voluntarily exchange business cards at events. If you choose to purchase a product or service from us, we will collect your payment information. When you register, speak at, partner or sponsor an event organised by Proper, we will send you e-mail communication and newsletters if you opt-in with all the information related to the event. You will have an additional option of opting-in to receive newsletters about our other events. By providing your personal data, you agree to the storing and processing of your data.

(b) E-newsletter: We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our e-newsletters. We collect statistics regarding email opening and clicks using MailChimp’s technologies which help us control and improve the efficiency our e-newsletter. (c) Cookies: Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. There is an option of setting your browser not to accept cookies and these websites tell you how to remove cookies from your browser.

(d) Log File Information: When you access our Sites, Log File information is automatically reported by your browser. For example, when you access our Sites, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your operating system, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and other such information. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

We are involved in protection of your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Proper or guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical or managerial safeguards (i.e. data breach, breaking and entering, etc.). 4. How We Share Your Information.

(a) Personally Identifiable Information: Proper will not share your personally identifiable information with anyone outside the organisation, unless it is essential for processing of your request. We may store personal information in locations outside the direct control of Proper (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers). You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the personal information that was stored on hosting providers’ servers removed. (b) Testimonials: We publish testimonials given by our clients on our Sites in addition to other endorsements. We may post your testimonial along with your name, job title and company. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at info@proper.com.hr.

 

5. Compromise of Personal Information.

In the event that personal information is compromised as a breach of security, Proper will promptly notify our customers in compliance with applicable law.

 

6. Data Access, Correction, Deletion, and Opt Out.

If you are a current Proper customer, you can contact us at info@proper.com.hr to review, correct, update or delete any information that we have about you. We will address to your inquiry within 2 working days and handle it as required by law. We will retain your information for as long as it is needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. If you wish to opt-out of being notified about latest news from Proper, you can do so by sending us an e-mail at info@proper.com.hr.

 

7. Children’s Privacy.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, Proper does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 8. Notification Procedures.

It is our policy to provide notifications to you via email, written or hard copy notice, to inform you about our services and news about the events we organise. We cannot be responsible for any practices employed by websites or services linked to or from the Proper Sites, including the information or content contained on those websites. 10. Social Media Widgets.

Our Site includes social media features, such as the Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. These features may collect your IP address and data about which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are hosted by a third party.. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the organization providing it.

All changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. When we change the policy in a material manner, we will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site, prior to the change becoming effective and update the ‘effective date’ at the top of this page.
